Co-Teaching Online Training
As a co-teaching participant, you will need to complete Parts A, B and C of the online Co-Teaching Training. These trainings are required of all cooperating teachers and must be completed to be eligible to host a teacher candidate.
Part A: Basic responsibilities of a cooperating teacher and university supervisor
Part A Training is provided by the Kentucky Department of Education's Office of Educator Licensure and Effectiveness (OELE).

Part B: Best practices for supporting a student teacher

- After completion of Part B Training, you will need to email Teacher Education Services at msu.teachereducationservices@murraystate.edu
As per KDE, your message must include both:- A statement verifying that you have reviewed all the material in the training module. The statement may be as simple as: I am writing to verify that I have reviewed all the material in this training module.
- A brief narrative describing at least one idea gleaned from the training module to use when supervising student teachers.
Part C: Assessment of the student teacher (Cooperating Teacher Packet)
Part C Co-Teaching training is completed by reviewing the , which includes the Cooperating Teacher Information: Guiding the Teacher Candidate booklet and the Student Teaching Notebook.
