Bridge to Supervisor Instruction

Bridge to Supervisor Instruction as an Option for Rank Change

The Bridge to Supervisor of Instruction program is specifically designed for dedicated and talented educators who possess strong academic qualifications, demonstrate potential for leadership, and exhibit a commitment to enhancing educational programs for P-12 students.

Career Outlook

The program is designed to enhance your earning potential. The demand for supervisors, coaches, and leaders is increasingly evident. It has been established that supervisors who possess a master’s degree tend to earn more annually compared to their counterparts with a bachelor’s degree. Considering the current climate, this is an opportune moment to pursue a position as a supervisor of instruction.

The Bridge to Supervisor of Instruction program presents an opportunity for individuals aspiring to transition to leadership positions at the district level. This program is designed for those who wish to advance to administrative roles within the district or at the building level, yet do not intend to pursue the positions of principal or superintendent. Participants will find a unique pathway to enhance their qualifications and leadership skills through this initiative.

Essential Components of the Program

  • Evidence-based practices that ensure effectiveness
  • Personal advising for individualized professional growth
  • Technology-infused coursework for contemporary school settings
  • Cohort-based program creating a supportive network of colleagues
  • 12 hours of course credit for relevant experience

You may qualify for up to 12 hours of course credit for relevant experience, as determined by a faculty advisor. If you are not awarded prior learning assessment credit, you may take the 12 hours to complete the requirements for the Supervisor of Instruction Program.
  • For each student teacher candidate hosted, the institution shall receive one (1) 3-credit-hour tuition waiver along with a stipend for each half-semester.
  • Can be completed 100% online.
