Two major commitments in support of Racer Football.
Impact
Having made their first major gift in 2021, the Crumps followed this up with another significant pledge in 2024, both in support of Racer Football. These funds directly strengthen the football program by investing in facility upgrades, recruiting, team apparel and equipment, capital projects and team travel, greatly enriching the student-athlete experience.
Inspiration
Since earning both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Murray State, Scotty Crump has gone on to enjoy a wonderfully successful career serving in leadership roles for major companies including General Telephone and Electronics and Parker Hannifin until his retirement in 2015. Throughout his life he has enjoyed continued fellowship with lifelong friends he made through his student-athlete experience at Murray State and treasures his connection with Murray State, recently serving on the Be Bold National Campaign Council. Because of the lasting influence Murray State has had on his life, he and Debi felt motivated to give back and help ensure that student-athletes of today and tomorrow also enjoy a foundational experience during their years at Murray State that set them on a course of decades of success.
