We鈥檙e having a great spring in the Honors College. In February we welcomed 190 prospective students to campus for Honors Day, when we had 65 students and 8 alumni volunteering to visit with students and talk about their honors experiences. Last week, Honors hosted a conversational dinner with a visiting Tibetan monk for interested students. This Tuesday we have the first faculty/student Honors Happy Hour (no underage drinking), and next weekend the Honors Student Council will sponsor the annual Honors Formal at Heritage Hall. Pogue Library is hosting the Gibbons Collection of ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, and Dr. Aaron Irvin, one of the regular Honors Civ professors, has been taking groups of Honors students through to view and discuss the artifacts.
